MAC [10 months old West Highland white Terrier] Had legg-perthes disease and as a result had to have the ball part of his femur [femoral head] removed. Since the surgery Mac has not been using the leg at all and after one session of Hydrotherapy he began to use his leg. After six sessions he is now using his leg reasonably well and improves daily.
